The category of Pole Drama is for performances that tell a story. Competitors will be expected to build a clear storyline in their performance with a beginning, middle, and end.
Hailee is from Toronto and began pole dancing in 2023. This piece is more than movement, it’s her story. A chapter of her life shaped by addiction where she lost her way, her hope and herself. Finding her way into an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting led her to the support that helped her choose life. Who we were does not define us, but it leaves its mark. As you watch, I hope you feel the truth of this story and remember change as possible, even when it feels out of reach.
This group performance by R.Song Studios follows the story of Eleven from the show Stranger Things. Her journey begins in a government lab where her powers begin to awaken. Eventually she breaks free from this facility, into the upside down. The forces she encounters here try to keep her from fully realizing her strength but through great struggle she is able to overcome them. Eventually she comes to peace with her terrifying journey and is fully in control of the duality that lies within her.
Keana invites you into her 9 year battle with her mind, thoughts, and mental health. After years of many medications, different treatments, forms of therapy, and multiple hospitalizations, nothing worked. For years, crossing the line between despair and healing felt impossible. She had lost all hope and the will to live. That is until she started intravenous ketamine treatments. It changed her outlook on life drastically, made her a much happier person, and helped her realize that she does have a purpose in this world. Most importantly, it has given her her life back after nearly a decade of not being able to live it.
Life..is hard..there’s no manual to navigate how to move through it..never mind having to deal with our own inner battles..the world can be cruel. But..we can be our own worst enemy..physically.. and mentally…
Ellie has always had a passion for fitness and dance and has been pole dancing for the past 10 years. She is a proud mom of one son and has a very supportive pole husband. She currently trains at Trillium Pole Dance in Kingston Ontario and would like to thank her coaches and owners of Trillium, Kathryn and Marie for their support and encouragement and for being with her on this amazing journey, especially Marie who is also here as her amazing human prop.

MKLA is coming to us from Ottawa where she has taught pole for the past 6 years. She values fun, learning and teaching safe progressions in her classes and values silliness and playfulness in her performances. She started her performance journey in burlesque about 10 years ago, which she hopes will shine through today and hasn’t rusted up too much! This is her second time on the competition stage and she hopes her sweaty hands don’t fail her today!
I am Preeti aka Pretty Indian Pole Dancer, from North Carolina USA. I have loved dancing since childhood and have been pole dancing since 2016. I am so very excited for my first ever Pole Theatre experience and I wish to bring all the comedy and entertainment I can to the stage. I'm hoping the audience can relate to and enjoy my performance as much as I enjoyed preparing for it.

The Babe-in-A-tor 3000, a beauty product marketed ‘90s cigarette moms and pole dancers specifically, has been mysteriously gifted to our performers here at Pole Theatre Canada. I ran into Rizzo backstage, a pole enthusiast and cigarette mom from Regina, and she has bravely volunteered to test it for us tonight. Let’s applaud Rizzo for her courage! The backstage crew tells me that there was a lengthy box warning and when they told Rizzo about it, she just said “Me too” and mumbled something about having three children with no epidurals. Lengthy box warnings aside, let’s go Rizzo!

Tonight, Mony and Sora bring that vibrant energy to the stage. Each dancer has her own unique style, rhythm, and personality. Through playful competition and mutual challenge, they push each other to dance harder, bolder, and more authentically. What begins as a clash of styles transforms into a powerful fusion of movement, friendship, and love for Latin music. Get ready to experience the electrifying rhythms of norteño huapango, electro merengue, and reggaeton as Mony and Sora take you on a journey through colorful Mexico. Enjoy!

Originally from Hong Kong and now based in Vancouver, Mini brings to the stage a lyrical piece infused with elements of Chinese dance. Her performance tells the story of a girl from Cherry Blossom Island who awakens with the arrival of spring and chooses to leave her comfort zone to explore the ocean beyond. Through this piece, Mini hopes everyone can find their own beautiful adventure in pole and shine brightly on stage in their own unique way.

Bree Vybes is a Canadian pole dancer, showgirl, and visual storyteller known for her magnetic stage presence and evocative costuming. Since beginning her journey as a travel dancer in 2021, she’s brought raw energy and sensual finesse to stages across the country. In just her first year of competition, she earned a reputation for bold artistic choices and unforgettable performances—quickly rising to become Miss Nude Canada 2024 and continuing on to international travel. Shes now moved on to begin teaching, producing and giving back to the performance community.

Nox the Nightbringer is a multifaceted dancer from Dallas, Texas who began her pole journey three years ago. Revered as a rage alchemist, Nox explores storytelling in the form of freestyle, contemporary flow, and hardstyle. Kathryn trains out of Trillium Pole Dance, a studio she co-owns in Kingston. Karen Smith, however, would like to present to you her persuasive essay on the best holiday.
Last year, Mallory Barnes and her husband made the difficult decision to move in order to open a studio, knowing it would mean being far away from the people they loved most. The move brought anxiety, uncertainty, and fear, especially around the friendships Mallory holds so deeply. She made a conscious choice to remain present in those relationships through conversation, creativity, and small, intentional moments. To honor the people who continued to show up for her from afar, Mallory chose to dance to their voices. The music and vocals featured in this piece are a compilation of friends from across the United States. Though distance now separates them, their connection remains strong.
Kelsey is a former ballet dancer who began pole at the CEAPAC studio in Edmonton in 2023. During her time as a ballet dancer, daily barre practice was essential, but also tedious and repetitive, and her mind would often wander elsewhere. Tonight, she invites you into her daydream of becoming a glamorous showgirl in the middle of ballet barre.
Originally trained in dance, Nicky Elizabeth discovered pole in 2019 and has been captivated ever since. Tonight, she invites you into the story of a chance encounter with a vibrant nightclub, where Latin rhythms pulse through the air, the energy is electric, and a dance-off unfolds as the pole takes her away. Shay Williamson is a performer, producer, business owner, educator, circus artist, hair suspension artist and more! But none of that matters right now. People are dying and being kidnapped across the US. A violent regime is attempting to destroy the United States and its wonderful, diverse and beautiful inhabitants. This is part 2 of my Art as Protest act at Pole Theatre, and I deeply hope it is the final chapter. But I will shout until my lungs give out and all of my friends and chosen family are safe. Tiffany Rose is an international pole champion, instructor, and performer. She was a member of the US national team for synchronized swimming and tonight her performance blends the concepts of both her past swimming career and her present pole career. She would like to thank the Pole Theatre Canada staff and Saskatoon Pole & Dance Studio for having her back again this year as Head Judge.
